Having abnormally low blood pressure is nearly as risky as having high blood pressure. Low blood pressure can make you feel weak, dizzy, and tired and can cause fainting, fatigue, and nausea. Quick Fixes for Low Blood Pressure
Fortunately, low blood pressure is usually easier to address than high blood pressure, and there are many natural and herbal remedies that can help you get back to a healthy blood pressure range.
Basil is rich in vitamin C, magnesium, potassium, and pantothenic acid that helps keep the blood pressure under control. It also helps decrease stress, which results in normal blood pressure levels. Use the dried leaves to make tea, or if you have the basil plant at home you can crush the fresh leaves, pour water on it, add honey to sweeten, and drink.
2. Salt Water
Sodium increases blood pressure, thus the sodium in the salt will help raise your blood pressure. Of course, excessive salt is also bad, so be sure not to overdo this. This remedy is best used as an immediate fix when you are feeling weak or nauseous caused by low blood pressure.
Coffee is another quick fix to try when you know your blood pressure is abnormally low. The caffeine in coffee naturally and quickly increases your blood pressure. If you suffer from hypotension, you may want to talk to your doctor about drinking a full cup of coffee or tea (with caffeine) every morning to stabilize your blood pressure.

Rosemary can be added into your diet by sprinkling the herb into many recipes, or for a higher dose and a faster fix, you can take up to 10 mL of rosemary tincture throughout the day. Aniseed is used around the world in folk remedies to help control low blood pressure. Of course, living a healthy lifestyle will help you prevent and address low blood pressure, as well as the side effects that come with it. Be sure to eat a well-balanced diet, full of lean protein, fruits, and colorful vegetables. Incorporate exercise into your day as much as possible, but if your blood pressure is extremely low, be sure to stick to light exercises such as walking.
