- Black peppercorn, 2 tsp
- Cloves (10)

- 6 cups of cold water
- 2 cups whole milk
- Black tea (6 bags)
Combine the ginger rounds, cinnamon sticks, black peppercorns, cloves, and cardamom in medium bowl; use a mallet (or back of a large spoon) to crush the spices. Transfer to a medium saucepan.
