






Essential oils have been in use for centuries for a number of reasons, including their health purposes, medicinal properties and often delightful scents. They can be used to aid in housework, provide aromatherapy, protect your immune system and care for your body. The oils are made using every part of the plants, from the flowers to the peels. They have anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antioxidant properties.

Natural Medicine
1 . Reduce Anxiety
Add some lavender oil to a diffuser and spray it about the house. Lavender oil is known to soothe stress and anxiety.
2 . Reduce Teeth Grinding
Place 1 to 3 drops of lavender oil behind the ears and on the bottom of the feet before bedtime to stop your loved one from grinding their teeth so badly.
3 . Treat Burns
Combine aloe vera with lavender oils, and rub it onto the burn to heal it.
4 . Minimize Cough/Sinusitis
Add a few drops of eucalyptus oil into steaming hot water and inhale deeply. It fights coughs, opens the airways and clears up the sinuses.
5 . Bronchitis/Asthma
A homemade vapor rub can be the perfect remedy to asthma or bronchitis troubles. Simply combine peppermint, eucalyptus and coconut oil and apply it to the neck and chest.
6 . Hangover
Simply add 6 drops each of lemon, lavender, cedarwood, grapefruit, rosemary and juniper berry to a warm bath and soak for a while.
7 . Morning Sickness
If morning sickness is troubling you, a few drops of orange, ginger or lemon oil on a handkerchief will do the trick. Simply inhale when you feel nauseated.

You can create an all-natural mosquito repellent. Mix a drop of citronella oil, lemongrass oil and eucalyptus oil to a teaspoon of coconut oil. Rub it onto your skin every time you go out.
13 . All-Purpose Cleanser
A simple cleaner that works well on just about anything requires little to make. Simply put 3 drops of tea tree oil and 3 drops of lemon oil in warm water. Spray it on the counters to disinfect.

To sanitize fruits and vegetables, simply add 3 drops of lemon oil to a bowl of clean water then wash.

25 . Natural Shampoo
To create a great chemical-free shampoo, combine rosemary oil, aloe vera gel, lavender oil, and coconut milk together. You simply use it like normal shampoo. It lasts 2-4 weeks.
26 . Acne Facial Wash
Mix raw honey with tea tree oil. Rub onto your face. Rinse with warm water.
27 . Natural Toothpaste
Make a nice, minty toothpaste at home by combining baking soda, sea salt, xylitol and coconut oil with peppermint oil.

Rub a mixture of lemon oil, fresh strawberries and coconut oil onto your teeth and rinse after 2 minutes.

Simply apply frankincense oil directly to your skin three times a day. It improves age and sun spots.

Mix some rosemary oil into your shampoo. It will thicken and increase the volume.
31 . Sugar or Salt Scrubs
You can use rock salt or sugar mixed with a few drops of your favorite essential oil and some almond oil.
32 . Dry Feet Cure
Mix 2 tablespoons of coconut oil and 3 drops of lavender oil. Massage it onto your feet at night, and wear socks to bed to have smooth feet.
33 . Cellulite Treatment
Massage a mixture of 2 teaspoons of coconut oil and 5 drops of grapefruit oils onto the areas with cellulite.
34 . Homemade Sunscreen
You can make homemade sunscreen by combining coconut oil with shea butter, lavender essential oils, zinc oxide, and helichrysum oil. Store it in a squeeze bottle to easily carry about with you!
35 . Head Lice Treatment
Combine 3 drops of eucalyptus, lavender and thyme oil with an unscented oil. Apply it all over your head, cover with a shower head and wait 30 minutes before shampooing the mixture out of your hair.
