Money-Making Hoax: The Sun Alone Does Not Cause Skin Cancer

For years, we have been hearing that exposure to the sun causes skin cancer. We are encouraged to lather up on the sunscreen, no matter how little or how long we are outside. Even worse, we’re told that exposure to sunlight should be avoided at all costs. However, studies are beginning to show that the sun may actually prevent types of cancer rather than cause them. Naturopathic doctors, researchers, and writers are trying to blow the lid off this scheme that keeps individuals out of the sun.

Dr. Richard Hobday explains in his book titled The Healing Sun how the sun protects from breast, prostate, colon, and ovarian cancers. Sun exposure may also help prevent diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, osteoporosis, and multiple sclerosis. One doctor, who was diagnosed with skin cancer, opted to treat the cancer with the power of the sun, as opposed to surgery. After continuous sunbathing, his skin cancer was gone.

Those that have attempted to convince the world that the Sun, the Earth’s primary source of energy and life causes cancer, have done so with malicious intent to deceive the masses into retreating from the one thing that can prevent disease.” — Dave Mihalovic, Naturopathic Doctor and writer.

In addition, there is a shown correlation between increased sun exposure and a decrease in cancer occurrence. Sun exposure can help increase oxygenation throughout the body and support the immune system. Dr. Auguste Rollier, a 20th century European doctor, found that many of his patient could be healed from various ailments by the rays of the sun, combined with a healthy and wholesome diet. His book, Heliotherapy, highlighted the benefits of utilizing the power of the sun in natural healing. During his heydey, Dr. Rollier claimed to have harbored the power of the sun to heal ailments such as tuberculosis, flesh wounds, rickets, and more.

Still, we are urged to prevent exposure to the sun and douse ourselves with sunscreen when exposure is unavoidable. The reality is that many of these sunscreens contain harmful, possibly carcinogenic, ingredients. The general population is not the one reaping the benefits from this medical advice; instead, it is those pharmaceutical, medical, and sunscreen companies that make millions off those purchasing their products and being diagnosed with cancer.

The reality is that the sun provides us with much-needed vitamin D, which most adults are deficient in, as well as mood- and immunity-boosting benefits. Perhaps it is time to think twice about the chemical-laden sunscreens we bathe in, as well as the vampire-like conditions we are urged to live in. The sun is a natural healer which can very well prevent and cure many diseases, such as cancer, contrary to the popular rhetoric.

I cannot use sunscreens, they make me break out and my skin blisters. Never used it after that happened. I need extra vitamin D, what better way to get it than sun exposure?
